Nicolette Sheridan and singer Michael Bolton have ended their engagement after three years of being together.

Sheridan’s rep says, “Nicollette Sheridan and Michael Bolton have amicably ended their engagement. They appreciate your respect for their privacy in this matter.”

This is the second split for the couple, who dated for 18 months back in 1993. I guess if it didn’t work the first time, it wasn’t going to work the second time.

The couple were often photographed vacationing together, however the two have not been photographed together in some time.

Nicolette was also once engaged to ex, Nicklas Soderblom, but the engagement ended in 2004 and Nicklas went on to bash Nicolette saying, “Nicolette flirts and can be funny, but that’s just to catch you. She likes the excitement and the challenge of landing a new man but it never lasts. She is just a lost, angry little girl who has never grown up.”

Chris Kattan recently filed for divorce from his model wife, Sunshine Tutt, after only 8 weeks of marriage. Even by Hollywood standards their marriage was very short-lived, Us Magazine has put together a gallery of some of Hollywood’s shortest marriages.

ABC has announced their new Bachelor…

It’s Jason Mesnick, the jilted Bachelorette contestant from last season’s Bachelorette with DeAnna Pappas. DeAnna rejected Jason’s proposal in end, and wound up with Jesse Csincsak.

The 32-year-old single dad is an account executive in estate and legacy planning and says he is looking for a woman who has a real curiosity about the world and who can find passion in life’s smallest moments. Divorced two years ago and now a single father to son Ty, 3, Jason says he would like to fall in love again and start another family.

Also a big philanthropist, Jason hopes to someday run his own children’s charity.

The new season is set to air January 2009 on ABC.

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams could be the next celebrity couple - the former flames were spotted dining together in Toronto at Grace restaurant with a couple of friends.

The pair dated for a few years after meeting on the set of the iconic romance movie The Notebook, however they ended their relationship in 2007.

Earlier this month Rachel attended a DJ event in support of Ryan at Green Door Lounge in LA. “They talked when he was away from the deejay stand,” says a friend. “They really looked like good pals. He seemed happy to see her.”

While reps are staying tight-lipped on the state of Gosling and McAdams’s relationship, the couple reportedly held hands during the meal (Awwww!), according to a Canadian gossip Web site.

They are a really cute couple - I hope they get back together!

Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi’s official wedding photo is on the cover of People Magazine. The couple exchanged vows in Beverly Hills this past weekend.

Ellen and Portia both wore Zac Posen, and sat on floor pillows along with author Dr. Wayne Dyer, who officiated the ceremony.

After exchanging Neil Lane rings, the couple and their guests sat down for an all-vegan menu prepared by their personal chef David Silberkleit while Sweet Lady Jane created a vegan red velvet cake for the celebration.

“What can I say? I’m the luckiest girl in the world,” says Ellen. “She’s officially off the market. No one else gets her. And now she’ll cook and clean for me.”

“The love we felt from the people surrounding us, and the love we have for each other, made this the most beautiful and emotional day,” says Portia. “And one that we’ll never forget.”

Ellen recently posted on her new blog, an entry titled “Just Married,” she writes, “I had a big, big weekend. I got married to Portia de Rossi! Sorry, John Stamos… this one’s taken.”

“The wedding was everything we hoped it could be. I wish I could’ve invited all of you. But I have some pictures and video I can show you when Season 6 starts on September 8. I can’t wait to see them too… it was all a blur. See you then.”

She logs off, “Blissfully yours, The just married Mrs. DeGeneres.”

Mia Tyler has broken off her engagement with her fiancé of roughly nine months, guitarist Brian Harrah. The model wrote on her MySpace page, “I am no longer in that relationship,” and titled the post, “Everything Must End.”

“Before you read it in some dumb article or online, let me be the first to say it. We broke up about two weeks ago. I am not ready to be in a relationship at the moment. I’ve been married once before and I’m not entirely sure I want to do it again.”

“As far as the breakup goes, there are no hard feelings and we are still friends…I will always love him…This is a hard time for both of us.

“And if nothing else, it’s helped me slim down. A breakup is always a great diet,” Mia added.

A source told E! News the rocker was attempting to sell back the antique ring at the downtown Los Angeles jewelry store Capri last week.

“He was talking about how they were friends for a long time, but that they decided to call it off,” the source said.

He also ended up calling off the transaction, leaving the jewelry store with the ring in his pocket after the jeweler offered him just a fraction of what he paid for the bauble.

“He said he was going to think about it,” the source told E! News.

The couple have been on and off over the past year, ending their engagement while filming The Hills, however Spencer has moved back in with Heidi and the couple is working things out.

Spencer originally gave Heidi a Lavender Amyethyst costume ring, which Heidi is no longer waring and hinting at exchanging for a “big ring”.
